No. 4 Connecticut Huskies at No. 14 Texas Longhorns

The 9th ranked Connecticut Huskies will take on the Texas Longhorns this weekend. UCONN will be trying to turn things around after dropping two games recently against 6th ranked Pittsburgh and 15th ranked Notre Dame. Texas is ranked 12th in the nation after winning 6 games in a row, including a victory over 12th ranked Michigan State.

NCAAB Odds have not yet been posted.

Some people may question whether or not the Huskies can hang with top level competition like the Longhorns after suffering two defeats against top 25 teams. This probably will not be a huge concern to the Huskies as they have already defeated two top 10 teams this season and those losses are their first two of the season.

The Longhorns have lost 2 games this season as well, including a loss over Pittsburgh, who recently beat Connecticut. These teams both have a feature scorer that leads the way for their respective teams. The Huskies definitely have the edge if the game comes down to the production of star players.

The Huskies are led by Kemba Walker. Walker had a fantastic start to the season and has continued to play at an extremely high level. He is scoring 26.1 points per game while shooting 47 percent on the season.

The key for the Longhorns will be shutting down Walker. The next best scorer for the team is at 10.5 points per game. If the Longhorns can force other people to step up they will have a great shot at taking this game from the Huskies.
